Third Annual Chile Bowl Scholarship Gala
If you thought the 1st and 2nd Galas were exceptional, wait until you experience the 3rd Annual Chile Bowl Scholarship Gala. This year the Scholarship Gala will be held on November 3, 2012.
And guess what? We're back to the Joe Freeman Coliseum Exposition Hall Building.
Like in the past, the 2012 Gala will include a dinner, dance, and raffle. And of course, all proceeds will go toward scholarships for current Fox Tech and Lanier High School graduating seniors.
Gala 1 and Gala 2 combined have resulted in close to $100,000.00 which supported 44 scholarships and additional classroom resources for students from these outstanding schools. This fact alone should motivate all of us to think "Big" about the 3rd Annual Chile Bowl Scholarship Gala.

Second Annual Chile Bowl Gala
The 2011 Chile Bowl Gala promises to be as exciting and entertaining as the First Annual Gala held November 6, 2010. And let's not forget that while we'll be having a great time, the purpose of the Gala is to raise scholarship funds for current Fox Tech and Sidney Lanier high school students from San Antonio, Texas. Won't you join us in supporting these students?

This year the Chile Bowl Gala will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center located at 200 East Market (Grand Ballroom C - 3rd Level) San Antonio, Texas.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. A Buffet Dinner, Catered by the RK Group, will be served at 6:00 p.m.
A Dance will follow at 8:15 p.m. and will continue until midnight. Music will be provided by The Latin Breed.
The 2011 Master of Ceremonies is Lionel Sosa; a 1957 Sidney Lanier High School Graduate.
This year the Gala is honoring Distinguished Alumni Tino Duran, a 1954 Sidney Lanier High School Graduate and Amelia Jimenez Duran, a 1955 Fox Tech Graduate.

Attire for the event is semi-formal.
Cash bar opens at 8:15 p.m. Sodas, Water, Beer, Wine Coolers, Snacks and Set-ups will be available for purchase.
Unlike last year, Bringing Your Own Bottle (BYOB) is NOT Allowed.
